We propose in this paper, a numerical study of a planar impacting jet flow. The flow is assumed isothermal, laminar and unconfined. The developed computer code is based on the finite volume method, which was used to discretize the N-S equations. The code allowed us to simulate the physical phenomenon’s taking place in the jet flow. The work focuses, on the description of the evolution of the jet and the presentation of the different characteristics of the flow, for different values of the Reynolds number and the impacting height. Calculations were made for values of the Reynolds numbers ranging from 0.01 to Re = 2000, i.e. in the limits of laminar flow regime, and for values of the ratio between the height of the outlet nozzle-impact surface of 0.1 to 20. The theoretical and numerical approaches of this work are confronted with the experimental works of Sholtz et al., [2]. Response Surface Methodology (RSM) was used to investigate the effect of temperature solution, immersion time, salt concentration and sucrose concentration on the water loss and solid gain during osmotic dehydration of tomatoes slices. The optimum conditions for maximum WL% and SG % are: T=55°C, t =240 min and C=74% for the sucrose and T=55°C, t= 240 min and C= 5% for the salt. Applications to the Sobolev-Gagliardo-Nirenberg inequality, differential forms, and the potential equation du= f are given. Structural, mechanical and electronic structure properties of Mg7NbH16 were investigated using the norm-conserving pseudo-potentials and plane waves (PP-PW) within the general gradient approximation (GGA) in the frame of density functional theory (DFT). The computed equilibrium lattice constants are in excellent agreement with the available experimental and theoretical data. The elastic constants Cij of Mg7NbH16 were calculated for the first time. The Mg7NbH16 compound is found to be mechanically stable. The bulk modulus of single crystals has been derived using elastic constants. The results are discussed and compared with the calculated bulk modulus reported in the literature. The polycrystalline elastic moduli (namely: the shear modulus, Young's modulus, Poisson's ratio, Lamé's coefficients, sound velocities and the Debye temperature) were derived from the obtained single-crystal elastic constants. According to the obtained results, Mg7NbH16 can be classified as ductile material. The shear anisotropic factors and the elastic anisotropy are also discussed. A Debye temperature of 619 K was also determined using theoretical elastic constants. Kider and Z.A. Hussain. In this paper, we study the fundamental properties of standard single valued neutrosophic metric spaces. Furthermore, we introduce the notion of continuous mapping and uniformly continuous mapping in standard single-valued neutrosophic metric spaces. To that end, we give a number of properties and characterizations of these notions. Dans ce travail, on a étudié numériquement l’écoulement incompressible, non visqueux, bidimensionnel et stationnaire autour des obstacles ovales (ellipse horizontale, ellipse verticale et cercle) en fonction des paramètres géométriques avec un nombre de Mach égal à zéro. Nous avons deux paramètres, le premier est le grand rayon de l’ellipse (a) et le second est le petit rayon de l’ellipse (b). L’écoulement est modélisé par la méthode des panneaux dans les coordonnées cartésiennes. Cette méthode est basée sur le remplacement de la surface du profil par une répartition de sources et de puits. Les lois de variation des vitesses représentées, illustrent bien le comportement réel du fluide non visqueux via les corps multiformes mentionnés par les références bibliographiques spécialisées. Numerical examples are included to prove the performance of the presented convergent algorithm. Dans ce travail, une étude numérique bidimensionnelle du processus de la fusion d’un matériau à changement de phase (MCP) placé à l’intérieur d’une enceinte rectangulaire inclinée, dont toutes les faces sont isolées thermiquement à l’exception de la face verticale avant, qui est chauffée de manière isotherme. On a considéré que la conduction était le mode de transfert de chaleur qui régit le processus au début de la fusion, suivie par une courte période de transition avant que la convection naturelle devient le mode de transfert de chaleur dominant dans la phase liquide. Les équations qui gouvernent ce genre de phénomène sont résolues et une solution numérique est développée. Les effets de l’angle d’inclinaison et l’orientation de la cavité sur le phénomène de la fusion sont examinés. The proof is based on Monch's fixed point theorem and the technique of measures of noncompactness. Two examples illustrating the main results are also constructed.   Dans le cadre de la conversion à vitesse variable d’énergie éolienne (VS-WECS: Variable Speed, Wind Energy Conversion System), cet article propose une électronique de puissance simplifiée pour injecter l’énergie produite dans le réseau, spécialement dédié aux éoliennes de petite puissance (<100 kW). La chaîne de conversion comprend en série une génératrice synchrone à aimants permanents (GSAP) fonctionnant à vitesse variable, un redresseur à diodes, un convertisseur DC-DC et un convertisseur en source de tension (VSC: Voltage Source Converter) en fonctionnement onduleur. Par rapport à une réalisation standard à deux VSC, la solution proposée permet de réduire le matériel nécessaire et de simplifier la commande. Le contrôle du système de conversion repose sur deux boucles de réglage. D’une part, la boucle de réglage de la vitesse de la GSAP permettant de suivre le point de fonctionnement à puissance maximale et d’autre part le réglage de la tension continue de l’onduleur. Le réglage de la vitesse requiert de contrôler en temps réel la puissance active injectée dans le réseau, ce qui est fait à l’aide d’un régulateur d’état avec commande vectorielle. Les résultats de simulation obtenus permettent de valider la solution matérielle proposée et montrent, lors de variation de la vitesse du vent, une adaptation rapide et précise de la vitesse de la GSAP. Cette publication a pour but d’effectuer l’analyse statistique des vitesses du vent et d’évaluer la production de l’énergie éolienne sur un site isolé au Sud du Bénin. L’étude est faite à partir des données de vents mesurées à l’aéroport de Cotonou par le service météorologique de l’ASECNA (Agence Nationale pour la Sécurité de la Navigation Aérienne) sur 34 ans (1981 – 2014), à l’aide d’un anémomètre installé sur un mât à 10 m au-dessus du sol. La distribution de Weibull a été utilisée pour modéliser la vitesse du vent moyen mensuel qui varie d’un minimum de 3.6 m.s-1 en décembre à 5.5 m s-1 en Août. Les résultats de calcul de la densité de puissance pour le site varient de 28 W.m-2 en Décembre à 76.5 W.m-2 en Août. Le modèle quadratique a été utilisé pour faire le choix optimal d’un petit aérogénérateur et la production journalière moyenne en fonction des mois a été évaluée et varie de 2.2 kWh en Décembre à 6 kWh en Août. L’énergie éolienne annuelle produite estimée à 1.5 MWh est suffisante pour résoudre les problèmes d’accès à l’électricité, à l’eau, et à la petite irrigation sur des sites isolés au sud du Bénin.
