This paper concerns the study of a two-stage vapour absorption cycle (heat transformer and refrigerating cycle) employing the refrigerant absorbent combinations of H2O-LiBr and NH3-H2O successively. The system consists of coupling the previous absorption cycle so that the first-stage absorber produces heating water to circulate in the generator of the second stage. It is found that the system can be operated at lower hot source temperatures and, thus, it can be supplied either from flat plate collectors. L’intensité de ce phénomène conduit à une baisse soudaine du coefficient de portance et donc à la dégradation de ses performances aérodynamiques. Ce présent travail est une simulation numérique bidimensionnelle de la variation instantanée de la direction du vent par rapport à la pale de turbine, comparée aux données expérimentales disponibles dans la littérature. L’effet de la variation de l’angle d’incidence d’un profil S809 est donc étudié en utilisant une approche URANS pour prédire le décrochage. La modélisation de la turbulence est assurée à l’aide des modèles. Le logiciel Fluent est utilisé pour la résolution numérique des équations URANS. Les résultats numériques sont comparés aux données expérimentales rapportées par la littérature. Les résultats montrent l’importance de prendre en compte le comportement de l’écoulement instationnaire dans les analyses afin d’obtenir une estimation précise des charges aérodynamiques qui agissent sur l’éolienne. This property limits the applicability of fractional derivatives and makes it unfavorable to model periodic real phenomena.This article introduces a modification to the Caputo and Rieman-Liouville fractional-order operators by fixing their memory length and varying the lower terminal. It is shown that this modified definition of fractional derivative preserves the periodicity. Therefore, periodic solutions can be expected in fractional-order systems in terms of the new fractional derivative operator. To confirm this assertion, one investigates two examples, one linear system for which one gives an exact periodic solution by its analytical expression and another nonlinear system for which one provides exact periodic solutions using qualitative and numerical methods. The analysis uses the techniques of measures of noncompactness and Darbo's fixed point theorem. Our results are obtained under rather general assumptions. Moreover, the method used in the proof allows us to obtain the asymptotic stability of the solutions. Biodiesel from renewable resources generally produced with the transesterification of vegetal oils or animal fats. In this study, we have improved the reaction conditions of the transesterification of the sunflower oil outcome in from frying. Fatty acid alkyl ester synthesized were characterized by the FT-IR spectroscopy and the CG-SM. For that, a range of experiences have been made in 25 °C and in 50 °C with different types of alcohols and in reaction times going from 30 to 240 minutes. The best result of fatty acid alkyl ester have been obtained at 25°C using methanol as an alcohol after an hour of reaction. Features of the obtained biodiesel under optimal conditions in particular kinematic viscosity, density, the cloud point and the flash point were determined and compared to ASTM D6751 biodiesel standards. The results show that the produced biodiesel lines with the standards and there is no major difference between EEAG and EMAG features. We give a short survey on the reconstruction question of conductivity from measurements on the boundary by covering the main currently known results regarding the isotropic problem with full data in two and higher dimensions. We present Nachman’s reconstruction procedure and summarize the theoretical progress of the technique to more recent results in the field. An open problem of significant interest is proposed to check whether it is possible to extend the method for Lipschitz conductivities. In this work we have examined the effectiveness of surface passivation on ascut multicrystalline silicon (mc-Si) wafers using different techniques. The study is based on minority carrier lifetime measurements with quasi steady state photo-conductance, ‘QSSPC’. Effective minority carrier lifetime ()measured values of 12.4, 8.9, 4.9 and 3.1 are obtained respectively with four silicon surface passivation techniques: 1- Shallow phosphorous diffusion emitter (n+p), 2- Iodine-Ethanol (I-E), 3-Hydrofluoric acid (HF) emersion and 4-SiNx layer deposition. These results suggest that the shallow n+p emitter gives the eff close to the bulk lifetime due to the better surface passivation quality. Simulations made with Hornbeck-Haynes model indicate that the improvement can be correlated with the decrease of the surface recombination velocity (SRV) and the increment of bulk lifetime. Avec la baisse de la production de réserves mondiales de pétrole, la nécessité se pose plus que jamais, de recycler des huiles lubrifiantes usagées. Les huiles usagées ‘moteur’ constituent une catégorie importante de matériaux susceptibles d’être récupérés moyennant des traitements appropriés. Cette récupération est une nécessité pour protéger l’environnement et peut conduire à des gains substantiels. Ce travail porte sur une étude de traitement d’une huile moteur SAE20W50 usées par l’acide sulfurique. Des tests sont effectués sur l’huile traitée tels que: la viscosité, le point d’éclair, le point d’écoulement et la densité. Les résultats des tests ont montré que les caractéristiques de l’huile traitée sont nettement améliorées par rapport à ceux d’une huile usée. Le but de ce travail est la réalisation et l’expérimentation d’un capteur solaire plan à eau réalisé au niveau de l’Institut de Mécanique à l’Université de Blida conformément aux conditions exigées par la norme Européenne EN 12975-2. Les tests expérimentaux menés sur le capteur solaire, en circuit fermé et ouvert, ont permis la détermination des performances thermiques du capteur à travers l’estimation de la constante de temps et du rendement journalier. Les tests ont été effectués durant la journée type du mois de Juillet, ainsi que durant la période d’une semaine. Les résultats des tests ont donnés une constante du temps de 5 min et un rendement journalier de 41% pour la journée du 19/07/2012.
