The present work, on an experimental basis, consists of an analysis and treatment of used motor oil (used oil collected by NAFTAL stored at the port of Algiers). For this, we carried out tests in the laboratory in order to develop an adequate re-refining process. First we made a comparative analysis between the sample taken from a storage tank and a new engine oil produced in the Arzew refinery. The results of these analysis allowed us to identify the different stages of the process of regeneration (Pre-treatment, metal removal by a chemical agent, a finishing treatment by passage through the bentonite and filtration). This process has enabled us to eliminate most of the impurities and the optimization of different parameters, the engine oil obtained at the end of the process is a basic oil ready to be used again. L’objectif de ce travail est d’étudier le comportement du réseau de distribution électrique de 29 départs sur le réseau électrique du site de Ghardaïa, suite à l’insertion d’une centrale solaire photovoltaïque de 20 MW, dont la mise en service est programmée pour l’année 2015. Ce travail se focalisera particulièrement sur les conséquences engendrées au niveau des pertes de puissance, de la tension et de l’effet de l’injection au niveau des postes, et sur les courants de court-circuit. Les résultats de simulations d’évaluation des pertes de puissance globales du réseau de distribution, ainsi que le calcul de la tension dans chaque noeud par la résolution du problème d’écoulement des charges permettront d’évaluer l’impact de l’insertion du photovoltaïque sur la tension du réseau moyenne tension et la puissance de court-circuit du réseau, et de déterminer le meilleur emplacement de la future centrale PV de Ghardaïa. The single effect absorption cycle is the simplest absorption cycle, it’s composed of four main components which are all heat exchangers using a diversity couple of refrigerant. Lithium bromide aqueous solution is one of many others solutions widely used in the absorption chiller for cooling purposes; it possesses several advantages over the other type of absorption systems, such as It highest coefficient of performance compared to other absorption units at the same conditions. Cependant, les procédés industriels utilisés pour son élaboration sont onéreux car très énergivores et constituent de ce fait un frein à l’expansion des installations photovoltaïques. Afin de lever ce verrou technologique, le recours aux technologies couches minces à base de divers matériaux (a-Si, CdTe, CIS, CIGS, ..) relativement moins coûteuses que celle du silicium cristallin et dont le rendement est en perpétuelle évolution semble être une alternative prometteuse. Dans cet article nous présentons une étude comparative sur les performances de modules photovoltaïques à base de silicium de différentes technologies (c-Si, p-Si et a-Si) pour diverses conditions climatiques. Une campagne de tests en milieu naturel pour un climat de type méditerranéen a été réalisée durant la période juillet-août 2012 sur le site de l’UDES situé à Bou Ismaïl (Tipaza). Deux configurations ont été expérimentées pour effectuer ces tests. La première, où les modules sont disposés en position inclinée à la latitude du site et la deuxième, où ils sont installés dans une position verticale pour simuler le cas de leur intégration dans un bâtiment. Cette étude a notamment montré que le module couche mince en silicium amorphe présente son meilleur rendement dans le cas ‘incliné’ pour des conditions climatiques caractérisées par une composante importante du rayonnement diffus. Pour la position ‘verticale’ ce module présente le rendement le plus stable comparativement aux modules cristallins. Microbial fuel cells can be used to reduce the organic load of a wastewater, while producing electricity at the same time. However, most tests on MFCs are done in controlled laboratory environments using synthetic wastewaters, and MFCs that contain expensive catalysts and membranes. In this work, we studied the performances of a low-cost microbial fuel cell that was made with stainless steel electrodes and no catalysts, and The COD removal in the MFC was compared to the one obtained in an aerated activated sludge bioreactor. It was found that the MFC could be used for water treatment, an 80% COD removal was reached after 15 days, compared to 90% after 10 days in the aerated reactor. However, the power densities were quite low, a maximum of 2.5 mW/m2 could be reached, this was due to high activation losses, a high internal resistance, and the presence of few electrogenic bacteria in the biocatayst.
