Response surface methodology was used to determine the optimum processing conditions that yield maximum water loss and weight reduction and minimum solid gain during osmotic dehydration orange pieces (valencia late) in sugar solution using response surface. The experiments were conducted according to a Central Composite Design ‘CCD’. The independent process variables for osmotic dehydration process were temperature (40, 50, 60 °C), processing time (60, 120 et 240 min) and sugar concentrations (45, 55, 65 % w/w). The optimal conditions for maximum water loss, weight reduction and solid gain (candying) correspond to temperature of 50 °C, processing time of 240 min, sugar concentration of 65 % in order to obtain water loss 60.83 % (g/100 g fresh sample), solid gain of 46,48 % (g/100 g fresh sample) and weight reduction of 57.42 (g/100 g fresh sample). However the optimal conditions for maximum water loss and weight reduction and minimum solid gain (respectively 53.28 %, 57.88 % and 27.18 %) correspond to temperature of 40 oC, processing time of 240 min, sugar concentration of 65 %. C’est un tube cylindrique vertical dont la paroi extérieure est munie d’ailette qui s’enroule en spirale sur toute sa hauteur et sur laquelle ruisselle le liquide à chauffer et à évaporer. L’étude hydrodynamique a permis de distinguer quatre régimes d’écoulement et d’évaluer les épaisseurs moyennes du film ruisselant en fonction du débit d’alimentation et de la géométrie de l’ailette hélicoïdale. Des modèles simplistes d’écoulements, pour les différents régimes sont, aussi, présentés. L’étude des transferts de chaleur, en régime d’échauffement, a permis d’évaluer les performances thermiques globalement et partiellement entre surface externe et film ruisselant. Les coefficients convectifs et les hauteurs d’unités de transfert globaux et partiaux sont déterminés en fonction des débits du film ruisselant et des angles d’inclinaisons axiales de l’ailette spiralée. L’étude comparative des différents tubes à ailettes testés et du tube lisse a utilisé, comme critères de comparaison, les coefficients de transfert thermique et les hauteurs d’unité de transfert globaux et partiaux. Les critères partiaux ont montré l’existence d’un compromis entre surface d’échange et coefficient de transfert convectif côté film. La structure du tube à double ailette, à forte pente axiale, constitue une solution à ce compromis. Sa performance, basée sur la hauteur d’unité de transfert, est meilleure, comparée à celles des tubes mono-ailettes et du tube lisse sans ailette. We have exploited the current-voltage characteristics of polycrystalline silicon solar cell at different temperatures and under constant illumination (1000 W/m2). The obtained results show that the series resistance, Rs , is a positive temperature coefficient type; however, the shunt resistance, Rsh , is a negative temperature coefficient type. The article presents a numerical simulation on air flow and heat transfer characteristics in solar air collectors mounted with obstacles. Computational Fluid Dynamics, ‘CFD’ based on the finite volume method, SIMPLE algorithm and the turbulence standard model have been implemented. A numerical 2D model of dynamic air vein solar collectors with 1400 mm length and 25 mm air gap was used to evaluate hydrodynamic and heat transfer phenomena of flow patterns in the annular passageways, precisely the heat transfer around 13 chicanes. The chicane is formed with two parts: the first is perpendicular to the air flow and the second is titled  they are mounted in successive rows, oriented perpendicular to the air flow. It is apparent that the turbulence created by the chicanes resulting in greater increase in heat transfer over the air vein. The pressure drops are analyzed vs. the Reynolds number and shown good agreements with experimental and semi-empirical relationship results. The mass flow rates effect on the velocity magnitude is analyzed. It was found that the mass flow rate variation has a slight effect on velocity evolution. La serre chapelle habillée en verre est relativement plus performante, mais son évolution reste lente en raison de son coût d’investissement et son amortissement. Le comportement énergétique d’une serre a fait l’objet de plusieurs études et concerne globalement la nuit et afin de contribuer en une meilleure gestion climatique nous nous sommes proposé d’entreprendre une étude et analyse thermique de la paroi en fonction d’une modélisation. Lors de ce travail, nous avons mis au point un quotient nommé Bibi, qui permet de caractériser un matériau de couverture. Cet état d’évolution thermique est fonction du degré d’étanchéité de la couverture et de ses caractéristiques physiques, pour être transparente aux rayonnements solaires, absorbante et réfléchissante des rayonnements infrarouges émis par le sol, d’où l’effet de piégeage des radiations solaires autrement appelé ‘effet de serre’. Nous proposons dans cet article, la modélisation et l’analyse du comportement thermique de la paroi en polyéthylène ‘PE’ de la serre tunnel expérimentale.
