The problem of communicating with translation, an applied study in light of modern theories of meaning Over the ages, translation has been the guarantor tool for communication between peoples and civilizations, and civilization could not grow and flourish except by translating the scientific breakthroughs and creative masterpieces reached by previous civilizations. On the importance of meaning as the main pillar in the translation act, meaning is still the cornerstone of every approach that seeks to besiege the translation act. From this point of view, this article aims to reveal the possibility of moving from mere doubt about the translation’s ability to communicate to certainty that leads us to reject translation, on the grounds that it is at best a distortion of the original. In this research, I relied on selected models on how to highlight the shortcomings of translation. The conclusions reached in this study highlight the fact that translation has advantages that can only be denied by a short-sighted ungrateful. It is true that there is no perfect translation because every translation is a draft proposal for a translation process, and in this capacity any translation is anxious and temporary, which justifies the repetition of translations of the same text without one of them imposing itself as a final approved translation. But what is the need - in fact - for a final translation, and why is the search for an ideal translation when the creative text is an open space that possesses the secret of its immortality in its openness to various readings? How do we demand the translator to complete the perfect translation when they are required to adapt the source text to the specifics of the target language and the reader to whom the translation is directed? A translator, like an author, desires to be read, and this is a legitimate requirement. Reception theory and its relationship to cognitive systems The openness to Western culture has resulted in a number of critical approaches, in the form of psychological, social, and structural or formative approaches. While the reception approach is based on the reader during his interaction with the literary text in order to interpret it and create an imagined image of its meaning. The vision of this theory revolted against the external approaches because it focused a lot on the realistic reference, such as the Marxist theory, dialectical realism, or the biographical curricula that paid much attention to the author, his life and his historical circumstances, and the traditional critical curricula that focused on the meaning and hunted it from the text as part of knowledge and absolute truth. And the structural approaches that focused on the closed text and involved it and ignored an effective element such as the literary communication process, which is the reader, to whom the theory of reception will give great care and attention. This article aims to shed light on the concept of reception in terms of its cognitive and philosophical foundations and in terms of its creative elements that are organized in a consistent theory, which has its pillars and pioneers. The researcher concluded that the view on the pillars of the creative process: the creator, the text, the recipient, was an integrated view. It can be said that the literary work is based on two pillars: the artistic pillar and the aesthetic pillar, the first of which is the author’s text, and the second is the perception that the reader achieves. The relationship is strong and existing between rhetoric and stylistics, and this relationship appears in various situations. In order to highlight the relationship between them, the researcher concludes that even if the relationship between rhetoric and stylistics is sometimes marred by strange paradoxes, there are common things between the two sciences. The linguist, Romain Jacobson, was among the first theorists to talk about it, through the oral communication scheme that he applied based on language functions. When translation theorists used this scheme, such as Peter Newmark and others, translation became seen as a communicative process after it was a linguistic process par excellence, which opened new horizons in academic research related to translation. In the old days, the translator used to transfer a specific text from a source language to a target language with his focus on simply delivering the same amount of knowledge to the reader. But, nowadays, his responsibility has doubled to deliver and understand, relying on possible approaches such as the communicative approach based on dealing with texts as messages. It should be encoded by the translator and sent to the target reader. If the Jacobsonian communication scheme has been used in translation in general, can it be relied upon in legal translation, knowing that it raises a number of problems that distinguish it from other translation disciplines? We see that communication in legal translation passes through several stages before it ends for the future or target legal reader, and accordingly we target in the first place what legal translation is, with an explanation of its specificity, and in the second place we address the characteristics of the legal text with a focus on the features of the text of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Thirdly, we review the conditions of the legal translator, and we tackle the legal system. Fourth, and finally, we propose a legal communication scheme. It can be said that the legal translator has an effective role in delivering a legal message that originates to a legal reader with a goal. From sentence linguistics to text linguistics Arabic grammar has been given full attention to the sentence as a structure. This includes an independent and intended attribution, in order to determine how its elements are interconnected, and to clarify the rules of this relationship, and the provisions of the changes that occur to these elements in order to reach the interpretation of the actual language of the speaker, and his knowledge of this language. This is the case because grammar is, in essence, a description of the relationships that connect the elements of the sentence, and these relationships are the basis for distinguishing between the elements that make up the sentence, which made some linguists look at it as the collection of various experiences using the methods of Arabic, and its structures. If the Arabic grammar was launched from the syntax, and its analyzes were concentrated in its framework, then this is not considered a deficiency or a shortcoming, but rather is due to the scholars’ desire to evaluate the language through it, and then pay attention to the rules that guarantee the integrity of the sentence at its different levels. They could have justified it from the spacious text areas and the general context. To achieve this objective, the third didactic unit entitled Vida Cotidiana y Compras has been selected: the theme of Food and restaurant. This study is qualitative and exploratory in nature. The descriptive-analytical method has been used. The instruments used for data collection are: observation and Ezeiza's content analysis. The results allowed us to conclude that the treatment of lexical competence in the Algerian manual is of a structural type since it focuses on the teaching of form and not meaning, the proposed activities are of the image-word relationship type and are decontextualized. Likewise, the lexicon is not integrated with the other communicative activities of the language. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar el tratamiento de la competencia léxica en el manual argelino de segundo curso Un Mundo por Descubrir. Para conseguir este objetivo, se ha seleccionado la tercera unidad didáctica titulada Vida Cotidiana y Compras: el tema de Alimentos y restaurante. Este estudio es de tipo cualitativo y de nivel exploratorio. Se ha utilizado el método descriptivo-analítico. Los instrumentos usados para la recogida de datos son: observación y el análisis de contenido de Ezeiza. Los resultados permitieron concluir que el tratamiento de la competencia léxica en el manual argelina es de tipo estructural ya que se enfoca en la enseñanza de la forma y no el significado, las actividades propuestas son de tipo relacionar imagen-palabra y son descontextualizadas. Asimismo, el léxico no está integrado con las otras actividades comunicativas de la lengua. The non-participant observation wasadopted to examine whether TPRS was being conducted or not; similarly, a semi-structured interviewwas carried on to investigate whether TPRS was used consciously and/or unconsciously by thetargeted sample of teachers. Based on this study, it was concluded that teachers do not adopt thismethod because of their ignorance of it except for the few of them who do use it, however, unconsciously. unconsciously. El objetivo de este estudio exploratorio es conocer la situación actual del TPRS, comom é todo de enseñanza, en el profesorado del primer curso de Lenguas Extranjeras en la Universidad de Laghouat. En esta investigación se ha seguido un m é todo inductivo para observar sistem á ticamente la realidad de los m é todos de enseñ anza dentro del aula LE utilizados por los profesores del primer curso. Se ha empleado la observación no participante para averiguar si se usa el TPRS en el aula de LE, y una entrevista semi estructurada para averiguar si se usa consciente y/o inconscientemente por los profesores del prime r curso. Los resultados muestran que en el caso de los profesores de la UATL, del primer curso, la totalidad de ellos no usan el TPRS como m é todo paraenseñar las lenguas extranjeras, salvo un reducido n ú mero que lo utiliza inconscientemente en sus clases. Stylistics of Intertextuality between Origin and Concept The ancient Arab criticism clearly referred to the phenomenon of intertextuality with different terminology and approach, with a strict vision of the Arab critic at the time, which was dominated by the position of the court, as the concept of intertextuality is not new in Arabic rhetorical and critical studies. It came under different names, and the concept of intertextuality does not permit the launch of a text from nothing. Rather, the text must have sediments. Thus, there have been studies in literary thefts with different terms and different visions of Arabic criticism. Poets since the pre-Islamic era have been alerted to this serious issue; They took it in a variety of ways. Intertextuality is the relationship between texts and the reality of the interaction between them, in recalling them by restoring them or imitating them by imitation of other previous or contemporary texts. The literary text represents a block of mosaic overlapping with quotes and meanings that took and imbibed other new meanings presented in the text, and thus intertextuality plays the role of a link between creators. Translation of Advertising Discourse The advantage that the political discourse had, is manifested in its great ability to impose ideology at the first place, its focus of attention on contemporary and developed societies because of its aims to induce the addressee to accept what is said. Therefore; it becomes necessary to recognize that the transfer of this type of texts from one language to another requires from the apart of the translator to be familiar with the techniques of translation and discourse analysis, as well as the ideological purpose of political discourse to understand the complex mechanisms behind it. So, the translator can choose the most appropriate method to create the same effect on the recipient of the text in the target language. The goal is to avoid the excessive literal translation, which may lead to deviations and slips that affect the essence of its meaning and distort it. After shedding light on the characteristics of political discourse of Fidel Castro and the issue of translating it into Arabic, the researcher concluded that literal translation is often unable to convey the semantic load of political discourse and leads to the loss of its argumentative power and rhetorical structure.
