Its influences and its major role in German language teaching classes were treated and well-documented because of the various tasks common to this type of teaching. However, it was found that the use of films in the classroom does not only bring positive effects but also in terms of schedule it is possible. It would be too long and tedious for students to work on the same film and topic during multiple sessions. However, this is not the case of short films, which don't take much time but make it possible to cover different topics in a short time. This reason motivated me to use this tool, since I also work as a teacher in the field of German as a foreign language. Due to the fact that the short film is an interesting medium, it currently stands as a research field for many studies. The aim of the studies is primarily to evaluate the effects of this medium in foreign language teaching. In this article I deal mainly with the impact of short films on the understanding and perception of the content and input. Then, I presents some exercises that I gave my students during the course, followed by the discussion of the experiment and its interpretations. I concluded that The use of short film as a course material makes it possible to visualize the context in a more vivid way than simple textbook illustrations. Its use can stimulate attention and create a natural communication situation for non-native learners. In this context, this article aimed to briefly discuss the advantages of short films in a German langauge teaching class as a foreign language as well as to present its pedagogical uses. I showed how the short film can be put at the service of teachers to improve the understanding of their learners. It should be emphasized that today the learner has little contact with ancient times and that consequently it is difficult for him to assimilate previous content knowing that the difficulty lies in the non-mastery of the language. Our objective is to give an analysis of this phenomenon with all its facets and all its repercussions on society over time in order to bring the learner as close as possible to the phenomenon which seems to him at first strange and foreign. Re-establishing the learner's relationship with the past is a first recommendation. The recourse to oral tradition made it possible to better define a civilizational aspect no longer exists. This is why the introduction of the story to tell seems essential to me for a new approach to this course. Instead of dispensing dates and biographies and waiting for the learner to learn them by heart, the teacher uses a very broad study of the phenomenon of civilization based on new research, in order to bring the historical event to life in its entirety in classes. This of course assumes that the teacher absorbs the content and internalizes it so that the learner feels an unfailing identification with the teacher. In this modest reflection, it is worth emphasizing that it is time to think about new methodological approaches. It seems difficult to break away from old teaching methods. More difficult I introduced new aspects of didactics into German classes. The main aim is to grasp historical facts and to continue to bring them to life with the active participation of the learners. But this requires knowledge and the know-how. If these two elements and other requirements are met in German classes, the problem of motivation can be relatively resolved. Since 1966, the country witnessed a succession of political upheavals which plunged its economy into a severe crisis. When Rawlings took the reins of power after a military takeover on 31 December 1981, he found no other alternative than the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank to get the country from the crisis.
