نعيش اليوم نفس الجدل، والإشكال الذي عايشه، وطرحه الفيلسوف الألماني فريدريك هيجل، وخاطب به فلاسفة عصره، ولا يزال يخاطب جميع التصورات بالرغم من صيرورة الزمان، والمكان، إنه جدل هدفه إعادة إحياء إنسانية الإنسان من خلال جدلية الفلسفة والدين، لأن الدين في نظره نطاق الحقيقة، والراحة الأبدية،  وبداية الجدل الفلسفي كونه رافد هوياتي أمام معرفة الإنسان لحقيقته، والغاية من وجوده، لكن ذلك لا يتحقق إلاّ من خلال معرفتنا لطبيعة المطلق، اللامتناهي، ما جعلنا نحدد هدفنا لهذه الدراسة التحليلية الفلسفية هو محاولة إسقاط (سؤال الدين) على واقع الإنسان المتديّن اليوم أمام طبيعة علاقته مع الآخر المتناهي، واللامتناهي في حقل الثقافات، والإديلوجيات المفتوحة التي تختزل كل الخصوصيات، والتمايزات بين الحضارات، ما يجعل الفرد بعيد كل البعد عن الحقيقة الأبدية التي تشمل المعرفة الحقّة لطبيعة المطلق، وتهميش غائية وجوده، وحقيقته المتناهية، ما أجبرنا على ضرورة البحث، ومحاولة الفهم الفلسفي في حقيقة قولنا: (أنا متديّن).
